4 Ingredient Garlic Cheese Bread

Who’s hungry? Today, I am going to show you how to make the BEST 4 ingredient garlic cheese bread you’ve ever tasted!

The bread is a little crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle and the cheese melts in your mouth! I’ve tried this recipe in a variety of ways, with different breads, cheeses, and seasonings; this is by far my favorite.

I usually pair this with some sort of pasta dish, but I will admit that I have made it and eaten multiple pieces as my dinner 🙂

All you need is 4 ingredients:

  • French or Italian loaf of bread
  • McCormick garlic pepper seasoning (remember how I told you this was my favorite?)
  • Kraft mayonnaise (approximately 1-2 teaspoons, I use it to simply bind the cheese into a mixture)
  • Kraft shredded mozzarella with a touch of Philadelphia (look for a picture of Philadelphia cream cheese at the top of the package)

If you do not have pre-sliced bread, cut it into 1/2 inch slices with a serrated knife. The amount of each ingredient you need depends on how many pieces of bread you make. This is one of those recipes that I can’t give measurements because many times, I’ve just had to make more cheese mixture. I suggest you taste the mixture to make sure it has the right amount of garlic pepper seasoning for your taste.

In a bowl, mix together the cheese, garlic pepper seasoning, and mayonnaise.

Spread the mixture on the bread; I have found that using a spoon works better than a knife.

Make sure to cover the entire piece of bread; I pile the mixture on – the cheesier, the better!

Bake at 300 degrees for about 10 minutes. Keep checking it! Once the cheese is mostly melted, turn on the broiler and broil for 1-2 minutes. This part goes very quickly, I usually stand and watch so it doesn’t burn. Baking it at this temperature and then broiling at the end is what makes the outside of the bread crunchy, the inside soft, and the cheese super creamy.

Now it’s time for you to try and enjoy! Eat well 🙂
